For the presentation of the weather forecast you need a decoration. Here you can make a TV, a map ad symbols such as clouds, rain, sun...

2. Country (real or invented): name and location
1. What do you use to predict weather? (page 28)
2. Temperature: definition, what do you use to measure it, what temperatura it is in there. (page 24)
3. Humidity: definition,what do you use to measure it, what humidity is there? (you can also say there is fog or mist) (page 24)
4. Wind: definition, what do you use to measure it, what type of wind it is in there (breeze, gale, hurricane). (page 25)
5. Precipitation: definition , what do you use to measure it, (page 25) choose one and define it (page 26)
6. Clouds: choose one and define it (page 27)
You will have to show the presentation to the rest of the class in December 10

During the past weeks we have been studying so hard....The Moon, The Earth, the maps, astronauts... lots of things that are quite interesting now is time to check how much we have learnt
Next Thursday 29th October Social Sudies Test
It will be easier to learn if you complete and study the following questions, you can find the answers in the book :
1) How do the Earth and the Moon move?
2) How long does the Moon take to orbit the Earth? And the Earth to orbit the Sun?
3) Why is cold in winter? And warm in the summer?
4) What are equinoxes? How many are they? Name them
5) What are tides? Explain the cause thhat produce them
6) Tell me 2 different types of maps and explain their differences
7) What is an atlas?
8) Explain what is a parallel, write the name of the longest one and how that parrallel divides the Earth. What is a meridian? Write the name of the main one
9) What is a telescope?
10) First animal and man in space, their nationality. First man in the moon.
